English: Fair Mile Hospital - Main Entrance. The imposing main entrance to the hospital. Opened in 1870 as the Berkshire County Lunatic Asylum, it eventually closed in 2003. The hospital site has been sold for redevelopment (2007) and will presumably be split into flats or apartments. |
