| Description |
English: Fairies Hill Wharf. Built in the 19th century to load coal from Whitwood and Altofts collieries, the wharf fell into disuse when the pits closed in the late 1960s. It was then refurbished and reopened in the early 21st century to unload aggregates for a new concrete mixing plant. |
