Summary
[edit]DescriptionFairfield Road, Petts Wood - geograph.org.uk - 1100182.jpg |
English: Fairfield Road, Petts Wood. Part of the "Davis Estate" built by Davis towards the southern end of Petts Wood in the mid 1930s in the "modern" style. This is one of the initial flat roofed "suntraps" in the area, unique for being a single detached house (see 1100181 for an example of the semi-detached version, as used for the other seven buildings in this style), but the flat roofs proved unpopular and later examples had pitched roofs (see 1100183). |
