Summary

[edit]
Description Paper box "dispensing" face masks inside a bus of TriMet (the transit agency serving the Portland, Oregon, metropolitan area) in early June 2020, during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. TriMet began requiring all passengers to wear face coverings on May 20, 2020, and installed mask dispensers in all of its buses and light rail cars (near the front door, in buses). These simple paper boxes began to be replaced by more durable metal boxes in August. At the far left of this photo, (the side and back of) a hand-sanitizer dispenser is also visible.
