Français : Fabrication artisanale d'une cuillère en corne de zébu.
Photos prise à Antsirabe, Madagascar, 2017 Les zébus font partie intégrante de la vie de beaucoup de Malgache. Leurs cornes sont utilisées pour réaliser toutes sortes d'objets artisanaux de "luxe" : cuillères, sculptures, jeux,... La corne est d'abord chauffée pour retirer "l'os" intérieur. Elle est ensuite coupée à l'aide d'une scie circulaire, taillée dent par dent dans un vieux bidon. Le bout obtenu est alors moulé grossièrement en forme de cuillère à l'aide d'une presse (dans le cas de la photo). Enfin, le morceau est poli plusieurs fois à l'aide de différents matériaux abrasifs récupérés : vieux jeans, papier de verre,... Après quelques ultimes étapes, la cuillère est prête.
