Description |
Français : François Pluyaud est né à Chirac (Charente) le 4 septembre 1888 et mort en 1965 à Limoges. Il vit avec sa famille à Chaillac près de Saint-Junien (Haute-Vienne) où il exerce le métier de "découpeur de vaches". Il est au début de la chaîne du travail du cuir, spécialité de cette région de Saint-Junien. Il est mobilisé le 3 août 1914, et intègre le 3e bataillon du 138e régiment d'infanterie. Blessé le 12 avril 1916 à l'oeil gauche, il reprend du service le 1er mai 1916. Il est démobilisé le 15 juillet 1919.
François Pluyaud a rapporté de sa période aux armées quelques objets qu'il a façonnés à partir de balles ( coupe papier, crayon), mais aussi deux croix de guerre, et un diplôme de remise de médailles accordé par les autorités italiennes. |
