Deutsch: Frankfurt am Main, Stadtwald: Der Rohsee, auch Rohrsee oder Rodsee genannt, ein sumpfiges Stillgewässer auf dem Gebiet des Stadtteils Schwanheim, entstand aus einem linken bzw. südlichen Altarm des Mains. Das Gewässer fällt abhängig vom Grundwasserspiegel zeitweilig nahezu trocken. Der Rohsee zählt zu den artenreichsten Stillgewässern in Frankfurt. Das Foto zeigt den Nordteil mit Bestand von Schwarz-Erlen (Alnus glutinosa), gesehen vom nordwestlich gelegenen Rohseeweg aus, aufgenommen im August 2012. Die Wasseroberfläche des Sees erscheint hellgrün durch deren Bewuchs mit der Kleinen Wasserlinse (Lemna minor L.). |
