Deutsch: Der Schäfersteinpfad ist ein historischer Grenzweg aus dem 15. Jahrhundert in der Stadt Frankfurt am Main. Der Pfad markierte seit dem Jahr 1448 die Grenze zweier als Viehweide genutzer bewaldeter Gebiete (Hutewald) im Frankfurter Stadtwald – die der Stadt Frankfurt und die der in Sachsenhausen ansässigen Kommende des Deutschen Ordens. Das Foto zeigt einen hölzernen Wegweiser am heutigen Rundwanderweg Schäfersteinpfad – mit dem spiegelverkehrtem Buchstaben F, der als Symbol für Frankfurt auf einer Seite der aus dem 15. Jahrhundert stammenden Grenzsteine entlang des Wanderweges eingemeißelt ist. |
