Description
Deutsch: Die Monsterkinder ist eine Skulptur in Frankfurt am Main aus der Reihe Komische Kunst im Frankfurter GrünGürtel. Der Künstler Andreas Rohrbach schuf sie nach einem Entwurf von F. K. Waechter, Frankfurter Zeichner, Autor und Satiriker. Die aus Eichenholz gefertigte Skulptur stellt – abweichend von der Vorlage, die eine Kastanie abbildet – überdimensionierte Eicheln dar. Sie befindet sich seit der Einweihung im Juni 2006 unter freiem Himmel an der Lichtetalschneise im Schwanheimer Wald im Südwesten des Frankfurter Stadtwaldes.
