Description
English: Cedar Rapids, IA, November 21, 2009 -- Volunteer in Service to America worker Victoria Bailey, a Florida resident, 'muds' a bedroom wall in a home in downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Victoria is one of approximately 200 volunteers still in the Cedar Rapids area rehabilitating flood damaged homes. The long-term recovery in Iowa continues as FEMA , state of Iowa and local officials assist local residents. Volunteer agencies have allied themselves to form Long-Term Recovery Committees, a vehicle for communities to resolve the unfulfilled needs of families and individuals in the area.
