[edit]DescriptionFEI Vitrobot (8510271991).jpg | Small aliquots of specimens in suspension are applied to holey grids, blotted with filter paper, and rapidly frozen to suspend within support film holes where they are embedded in vitreous (non-crystalline) ice.
