Description A Boeing F/A-18E Hornet attached to the U.S. Navy strike fighter squadron VFA-105 Gunslingers gets taxied onto the catapult prior to launch during flight operations aboard the nuclear powered aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) on 3 January 2008. Truman and embarked Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW-3) were underway on a scheduled deployment to the Perian Gulf. The F/A-18E is armed with a JDAM bomb, a laser-guided bomb, and a AIM-9X Sidewinder air-to-air-missile.
