Description A U.S. Marine Corps Grumman F9F-8B Cougar (BuNo 131249) of Marine Attack Squadron VMA-311 "Tomcats" in flight, in 1958. The "B" identified U.S. Navy/Marine Corps aircraft that could deliver nuclear weapons. 131249 seems to carry such a (training) weapon.
