VF-64 was deployed with Carrier Air Group Two (CVG-2) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Midway (CVA-41) to the Western Pacific from 16 August 1958 to 12 March 1959. On 1 July 1959 VF-64 was redesignated VF-21. |
