Description A U.S. Navy McDonnell F3H-2M Demon (BuNo 137037) in flight carrying four AAM-N-2 Sparrow I missiles. The F3H-2M was fitted with the AN/APG-51B radar set that was used to guide the AAM-N-2 missile. The first F3H-2M flew on 23 August 1955. The F3H-2M was produced in parallel with the F3H-2N ("N" as it was originally planned as a night fighter), 80 F3H-2Ms being built.
