leaves. Fruit very large, often eight inches or more in length by two in diameter, very smooth and hand-
some, being when unripe of a bright, deep green color, entirely free from any purple tinge, and when matured
of a rich red. Flesh very thick, sweet audliiild flavored. Well suited to use as a stuffed pickle. Packets, oc.
