Description A German Luftwaffe McDonnell Douglas F-4F Phantom II (s/n 37+15) launches an AIM-120 AMRAAM missile. 110 of 175 German F-4Fs were modernized between 1991 and 1996, the programme was called "Improved Combat Efficency (ICE)". The modernization centered around the installation of the Hughes AN/APG-65 radar and the capability to fire the AIM-120 AMRAAM missile. 37+15 wears the emblem of the Luftwaffe test centre Wehrtechnische Dienststelle 61 at Manching, Bavaria.
