Description

All three Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II variants along with two Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornets line up at the end of the runway prior to take off at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida (USA), on 14 August 2013. This was the first time all three had been in the air at the same time over Eglin. Visible are the following aircraft: (l-r)
F-35C of U.S. Navy Strike Fighter Squadron VFA-101 "Grim Reapers";
two F/A-18E Super Hornets of VFA-25 "Fist of the Fleet", Carrier Air Wing 9 (CVW-9);
F-35B of Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron 501 "Warlords";
F-35A of the 33rd Fighter Wing, U.S. Air Force;
