Description
English: A McDonnell Douglas F/A-18C Hornet from the Dambusters of U.S. Navy strike fighter squadron VFA-195 lands on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN-73) on 27 August 2008. The carrier was transiting off the coast of Southern California working on its combat operations efficiency evaluation with Carrier Air Wing Five (CVW-5). George Washington was en route to Yokosuka, Japan, where the ship replaced the USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63).
