Description A Grumman F-14B Tomcat (BuNo 163224) being removed from the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (309 AMARG) at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona (USA), circa July 2009. A local recycling contractor, HVF-West, was given permission by the U.S. Navy's Inventory Control Point to remove 20 F-14s to be shredded. Only 11 F-14s then remained at the AMARG. The F-14B in the foreground was last operated by Fighter Squadron VF-32 Swordsmen and retired to the AMARG as 1K0190 on 3 August 2005.
