Description Several of the U.S. Navy red-shirted aviation ordnancemen on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) react exuberantly as an aerial banner target takes to the air behind a Grumman F-14A Tomcat aircraft of Fighter Squadron VF-41 Black Aces. VF-41 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 8 (CVW-8) aboard the Lincoln for that carrier's shakedown cruise in the Western Atlantic from 19 January to 23 February 1990.
