Description
English: F/A-18 Hornet and A-6E Intruder aircraft from Carrier Air Wing 1 (CVW-1) conduct an in-flight refueling with a pair of U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft while en route to their target during Operation Desert Storm. A Fighter Squadron 33 (VF-33) F-14A Tomcat aircraft, also from CVW-1, is in the foreground. CVW-1 is based aboard the aircraft carrier USS AMERICA (CV 66).
