Description A U.S. Air Force General Dynamics F-111F from the 48th Tactical Fighter Wing takes off from RAF Lakenheath, East Anglia (UK), on 14 April 1986. This aircraft was participating in "Operation El Dorado Canyon", a retaliatory air strike on Libya. This aircraft, armed with 227 kg (500 lbs) Mk 82 bombs, was one of six that were to attack Tripoli airfield.
