[edit]
Description U.S. Air Force Republic F-105G Thunderchief Wild Weasel aircraft (s/n 63-8275) of the 17th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 388th Tactical Fighter Wing, at Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base, circa in 1972. The F-105G is armed with two AGM-78 and four AGM-45 Shrike missiles on two dual launchers which was dropped as a leaflet on SAM sites to intimidate the crews. Although dual launchers were available, the Wild Weasels rarely used them because they vibrated heavily if only one Shrike was fired.
