One storey local grade listed building. Plaque on its facade:"Harkányi House. Building of local importance. It was built in the last quarter of the 19th century by Edward Harkányi (Hirschl). Harkányi, together with Gyula Bachrach, then independently erected a series of public buildings in the Monarchy. Significant building complexes of Piski, Oradea, Subotica, Deva, Miskolc, Kaposvár, Sopron, Eger, Csáktornya, Varaždin and Kanizsa commemorate him. They also jointly founded the Merkur iron factory in 1894.// The memorial plaque was erected in 2005 by Zala General Construction Industry Contractor Zrt." In 1865 in the courtyard of the house there was a machine manufacturing workshop of Gyula Lippics - István Vidats. From the 1880s, Ede Harkányi (1837-1904) and Bachrach were building contractors, formerly timber merchants, storing building materials in the courtyard of this building. Their master builder was Mór Geiszl. - 17 Fő Road, Nagykanizsa, Zala County, Hungary.

Harkányi Ede (1837-1904) és Bachrach az 1880-as évektől építési vállalkozók, korábban fakereskedők az épület udvarán tárolták az építőanyagokat.
