Description
Español: Fíbulas de bronce protoceltibéricas de la Necrópolis de el Cuarto. Siglos VII-VI a. C. Museo Arqueológico Nacional de España. Descriopciones. de arriba a abajo y de izquierda a derecha:
  • Fíbula de pie vuelto, del tipo 7D de Argente. El pie, con remate en bola está unido al puente, que tiene en el otro extremo, la cabeza perforada para que pase el eje de un resorte bilateral. El resorte es de hierro y está cubierto con espiras de bronce que forman un lazo para pasar de un lado a otro del puente. Procedencia:Necrópolis de El Cuarto - La Muela de San Juan (Griegos, Teruel): Tumba 7. Altura: 4,50 cm; longitud: 7,50 cm; anchura: 4 cm. Nº inv. 1976/40/13.
  • Puente arqueado de una fíbula. Se trata de una lámina romboidal decorada con línea de granetti y círculitos, que no conserva el pie y cuya cabeza iniciaría el resorte que tampoco se conserva. Procedencia:Necrópolis de El Cuarto - La Muela de San Juan (Griegos, Teruel): Tumba 6. Longitud: 8,50 cm; anchura: 3 cm; grosor: 1 cm. Nº inv. 1976/40/11.
  • Eje de resorte de fíbulacon espiras de hierro y discos de bronce de seccción lenticular en los extremos. Falta por tanto todo el resto de la fíbula.

Corresponde a una fíbula de tipo navarro-aquitano, un modelo habitualmente fabricada en hierro, formada por un largo resorte bilateral de cuyo centro partiría un puente de cinta estriada ancha, y terminaría en un pie vuelto en ángulo recto, rematado en un grueso botón. Los extremos del eje, sobre el que se arrollan las espiras del muelle, se rematan en cada lado por tres o cuatro discos que pueden ser de hierro, o de bronce, como en este caso. Procedencia:Necrópolis de El Cuarto - La Muela de San Juan (Griegos, Teruel): Tumba 5. Altura: 2 cm; longitud: 11 cm; anchura: 2 cm. Nº inv. 1976/40/14.

  • Puente de fíbula, posiblemente de una de doble resorte, del tipo 3, de Argente. Conserva los arranques de las dos primeras espiras, una de cada lado. Es una lámina romboidal que bordea una doble cenefa de línea de granetti, que a su vez enmarca un espacio donde una franja paralela al eje longitudinal de la pieza contiene tres círculos concéntricos puntillados.

Se trata de uno de los tipos de fíbula más antiguos, aunque en este caso es un modelo más evolucionado y producto propio de la zona oriental de la Meseta. Procedencia:Necrópolis de El Cuarto - La Muela de San Juan (Griegos, Teruel): Tumba 9. Altura: 1,30 cm; longitud: 5,50 cm; anchura: 2,50 cm; grosor: 0,10 cm. Nº inv. 1976/40/5.
