Deutsch: Das natürliche Auftreten von Afrikanischen Fächerpalmen (Borassus aethiopum) ist ein Zeichen für "schlechte" Böden (im Sinne von: "für den landwirtschaftlichen Feldbau nicht geeignet"). Die äußeren Schichten des Baumstammes sind ein hartes und gutes Bauholz.)
English: The natural occurence of this African palm species (Borassus aethiopum) is a sign for "bad" soils (in the sense of "not suitable for agricultural cultivation"). The outer layers of the tree trunk forms a very hard wood (very good building wood).
