Description
English: Standard extinction law for wavelengths ranging from 0.2 nanometers (X rays) to 3 microns (infrared). In the X ray regime, shortwards of the helium ionaisation, analytical fits by Morrisson & McCammon (1983) are used. Between the helium ionisation and the Lyman limit (extreme UV), a analytical fit of mine to a plot by Ryter (1996) is used. At optical wavelengths, from the Lyman limit longwards, analytical fits by Cardelli et al. (1989) for RV = 3,1 are used.
