English: US Air Force Nurse Capt. Michelle Archebelle, left, and Tech. Sgt. Bruce Graybill, right, both with the Expeditionary Medical Liaison team from Joint Task Force-Bravo located at Soto Cano Air Base in Honduras, carry a box full of medications on the village of Comunidad La Presa. The medicines are for the patients that will be seen at the community of La Presa during the disaster relief operations in areas affected by Tropical Storm Noel. The EML team provides basic medical care to the residents of remote villages in the Dominican Republic. The team augments the ongoing medical support being provided by local organizations to the displaced citizens. U.S. Army South's rapid deployable command and control personnel along with their humanitarian assistance survey team deployed to the Dominican Republic to participate in disaster relief operations in areas affected by Tropical Storm Noel. This phase of the operation concluded, Nov. 8. Now they will focus on providing much needed medical attention. |
