Description
English: One of the riflemen fires a round, the empty case is ejected. You can see a trail of smoke from the oiled weapon system. Soldiers from 9 Platoon, C Coy, 1st Battalion (1RGR) The Royal Gurkha Rifles conduct a day Live Firing shoot during the heat of the day on Mount Bundey Training Area. Soldiers from C Company 1st Battalion (1RGR) The Royal Gurkha Rifles based in Brunei are deployed in the Northern Territory of Australia taking part in Exercise Pacific Kukri, a multi-national joint exercise with the Australian Defence Force and U.S Marine Corps. Pacific Kukri is a 5-week deployment and gives the opportunity for 1RGR to undertake defence engagement activities by developing interoperability between the Australian Defence Force & US Marines enhancing relationships within the IAP (Indo-Pacific Asia).
