Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Excoecaria agallocha, blind-your-eye mangrove, is named for its milky, poisonous sap. It is distributed from Bangladesh and India to Australia. Excoecaria agallocha is found closer to the high tide mark where salinity is lower. In Bramble Bay it is approaching its southern range limit in northern New South Wales. It is not common, and is found on the landward edge of mangrove communities along tidal waterways.
