English: Excavated coffin in the crypt of Dilston Chapel, Northumberland. At the time of the excavation the identity of the occupant of the coffin was unknown. I am not aware of any published account of the excavation. Some previous occupants of the crypt had been removed to St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Corbridge. |
