English: Excavated cairn on Cefn Sychbant The 'ridge of the dry hollow' is adorned by a host of ancient cairns (at least according to the OS map), some now scarcely discernible in the sea of tussocky grass which covers the area. The conifers of Garwnant can be seen to march up high onto the moor whilst he central Beacons are visible on the far skyline. |
