EVE5RYTHHHQ FOR THE QA1RID EM - Flower Seeds
Crego's GIANT COMET
OK MAMMOTH
OSTRICH PLUME
ASTERS
These truly grand Asters win enthusiastic admiration from all who see them.
They are a highly developed American type of the German Comet, Hohen-
zollern or Mammoth Ostrich Plume Asters and are far superior to imported
strains. The flowers are of immense size 4 to 5 and often 6 inches across, com-
posed of long, wavy, twisted petals, gracefully formed into loose, yet densely
"The Giant Comets from you last
year were the finest Asters I ever
saw; they bloomed profusely
and the flowers were very
large."
Miss EMMA
HARPER,
Reno, Pa
double, half -globes, equalling some of the finer Ostrich Plume Chrysanthemums.
The plants, of luxuriant branching growth, attain a height of 18 inches to 2 feet,
each plant bearing from 20 to 30 of these magnificent flowers on very long stems,
which gives them an added value for cutting and vasing. (See cut.)

The Mammoth Ostrich Plume Asters — from your
seed — were the most beautiful ever grown in our
neighborhood, and were greatly admired by all who
saw them. They measured from 5 to 6 inches
in diameter, on stems 16.4 inches high."
Miss KATHERINE FISHER,
Unionville, Mich.
"My Giant Comet Asters last year took
two prizes at our exhibit, where there
was a large and beautiful dis-
play. One prize was for my
Lavender Comet — it being
the largest Aster dis-
played. "
CORNELIA M.
BOARDMAN,

St. Paul,
Minn.
"Your Giant
Comet A sters were
very fine, surpassing
any Asters I ever had."
RUSSEL SMITH,
Crete, III.

type. The center of the flower is a crown of pure white
6urrounded by Some rich color, making an effective con-
trast. These Asters were awarded a diploma of honor by
the French Society of Horticulture.

Extra' Early Hohenzollern
or EXPRESS COMET ASTERS
Early-flowering Comet Asters of great merit, not only for garden purposes,
but of even more value for early cut flowers. Extra-early flowering Asters have
heretofore been produced at the expense of either size, doubleness, substance
or length of stem, but the Express Comets are nearly as good as later-flowering
sorts and come into bloom in the open ground with us by the middle of July.
They are the largest early Asters of which we know, flowers 314 to 4 inches
across, of double Comet type; splendid substance and long stems; plants healthy
and sturdy, of branching habit; 18 inches high; free bloomers.

It can be used where it is unknown whether any enhancements have been made, as well as when the enhancements are clear but insufficient.
