BEDDING PETUNIAS
LARGE SINGLE BLOTCHED AND STRIPED
Bedding Petunias are almost indispensablefor
garden decoration. They flower in a few weeks'
time from seed and continue to grow, bud and
bloom in luxuriance until frost. The strain of
seed we herewith offer is our very finest selection
from this type of Petunia, producing large,
single flowers, blotched, striped, netted, etc.,
including all the Petunia colors; height 1 foot.
Mixed Colors. . . Per 1,000 seeds, 50c; Pkt. 10c.

delicate shades. .See cut.)

Collection of above 12 superb Giant Single Petunias, 1 pkt. each S2.00 ^Sp
"I write this in praise of the elegant Single Giant Petunias raised from your seed;
they are more than wonderful — ■full of bloom, such large velvety flowers, so prolific
and such a variety of colorings. No one about here ever saw their like. I am with
them morning, noon and night, wanting to take all of them into the house for winter." ^gg?*

HENDERSON'S GIANT DQUBLE PETUNIAS
Are as large as Hollyhocks; as double as double can be, with edges finely
fringed, petals fluted and crinkled, intensifying and varying the colors with
high lights and dark shadows, bringing out a richness and effect unmatched
by crumpled velvet, which the flowers resemble. There is a variety of colors — ■
selfs, blotched, veined, margined, etc.; in short, these Double Petunias are
unsurpassed by any other strain in the world. (See cut.)
Double Aurora. Light rose, veined purplish-crimson Pkt. 25c
Brilliant Rose. Lovely bright rose-pink 25c
Violet. Rich, velvety purplish violet 25c
Lady of the Lake. Large, fringed, pure white 25c
Delicatissima. Immense flowers of delicate, pale pink 25c.
Double Empress. Blossoms 4 to 5 inches across, daintily colored soft rose
and lilac, shaded, blotched and striped with cream Pkt. 25c.
Mixed Colors 25c
Collection of above 6 superb named Giant Double Petunias, 1 pkt. each. . .
double SELF^SEEDING PETUNIAS
This new strain is unique from the fact that the double flowers produce seed
insuring a larger percentage of double-flowering plants (about 60 per cent.)
than can be raised from singles artificially pollenized from double flowers which is
necessary in producing all other Double Petunias from seed. The flowers of these
Double Self -seeding Petunias are large — double — and include a variety of different
colors - Pkt. 25c

It can be used where it is unknown whether any enhancements have been made, as well as when the enhancements are clear but insufficient. For known raw unenhanced scans you can use an appropriate {{PD-old}} tag instead. For usage, see Commons:When to use the PD-scan tag.
