GERANIUM-
LEAVED
NASTURTIUMS
"BUKNING BUSH"
This unique new type is of dwarf, compact growth, forming round, bushy plants about
12 inches high by 15 inches across. The glossy, dark green leaves are thick, leathery,
waved and lobed similar to the leaves of a Geranium. The flowers of intense blood
crimson are borne in clusters around the main stem and in such
quantities that they part the foliage, thus giving the effect of
a bush on fire Oz. 30c. ; Pkt. 15c.
NICOTIANA
Affinis Hybrids. Most showy and profuse
flowering garden annuals, giving a continu-
ous display of brilliant flowers through
summer and autumn; easily grown from
seed, commencing to flower in a few
weeks from sowing, thriving in a sunny
position in any good garden soil. The
plants, of branching, bushy habit
3 feet high, carry the flowers in
clusters, the whole being liter-
ally ablaze with them, thousands
being borne on a single plant
during the season; the glorious
effect in the garden is unsur-
passable. The plant and flowers are
similar in habit and form to those
of the popular white-flowering fra-
grant N. affinis, but the flowers of
these new hybrids are much larger,
measuring from 1 .4 to 2 inches across,
and very fragrant. Colors, purple,
white, dark red, light red, salmon,
crimson , violet, rose and pink. (See cut . )
Mixed Colors Pkt. 10c.
Affinis. The popular free-flowering va-
riety; fragrant star-shaped white flowers;
annual, 3 feet high Pkt. 5c.
"Your 'PICTURESQUE GARDENS' by
Charles Henderson, is a very suggestive and useful
book and I am glad to have it in our library here."

NEMESIA
Triumph Hybrids. The highest de-
velopment in this favorite class of
annuals so popular for bedding and pot
culture. The plants grow 6 to 8 inches
high, in round bush form, and bear
continuously, during the summer, myr-
iads of brilliantly colored flowers;
cream, orange, yellow, crimson, rose,
scarlet, etc., lipped with other colors.
(See cut.) Mixed Colors. . . . Pkt. 10c.

flowering type is strikingly showy

Newton's Glories. A new and most notable
hybrid strain of large-flowering Nemesias.
Plants of compact, bushy growth bearing a pro-
fusion of flowers the largest of all, in gorgeous color-
ings and lovely shades including crimson, lemon,
orange, purple, claret, etc., besides many that are
tigred and spotted on delicate ground colors. ..Pkt. 25c.

It can be used where it is unknown whether any enhancements have been made, as well as when the enhancements are clear but insufficient. For known raw unenhanced scans you can use an appropriate {{PD-old}} tag instead. For usage, see Commons:When to use the PD-scan tag.
