Description

Preserved 9F No. 92220 "Evening Star" at The Didcot railway centre in the 1970s. If only they had been allowed to, in enough numbers these magnificent all purpose engines could have seen British Railways through the lean years and not have to waste huge amounts of money on rushed first generation diesel replacement which were not nearly as successful in their endeavours.
