Description

Groß Zicker liegt auf der Halbinsel Mönchgut im Osten der Insel Rügen.

Die Kirche wurde um 1400 erbaut und ist das älteste Gebäude auf Mönchgut. Sehenswert ist nicht nur die Kirche selber, sondern auch der Friedhof mit dem Jakobstein. Die ältesten Ausstattungsstücke der Kirche sind der Altar und der Sakramentsstein. Die Glocken sind eine der ältesten auf Rügen. Die Kanzel stammt aus dem Jahr 1653, der Taufstein von 1859 und die Orgel wurde 1864 von der Fa. Grüneberg aus Stettin errichtet.
