Summary
[edit]DescriptionEuston station reconstruction 6 geograph-2992529-by-Ben-Brooksbank.jpg |
English: Reconstruction of Euston Station, 1965. View inwards from the end of the Arrival platforms, July 1965. (Cf. TQ2982 : Reconstruction of Euston Station and earlier). Main-line electric trains started to run in November 1965 and here the wires are already up, but a steam locomotive (Stanier 5MT 4-6-0 No. 45292) is still to be seen. The New Station is now recognisable. |
