Description
English: Historical drawing of YPM VPPU 011079 (previously PU 11079), the holotype specimen of Eusmilus dakotensis HATCHER 1895 (also assigned to the genus Hoplophoneus), a right mandibular ramus from the Brule Formation (“Protoceras beds”, Whitneyan, lower Oligocene) of South Dakota, in lateral (1), lingual/buccal (2), occlusal/dorsal (3), anterior/rostral (4), and posterior/caudal (5) views.
