Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This is a portrait of Eusebius of Caesarea (with a scroll, representing his wisdom) and Ammonius of Alexandria, prefacing the letter Eusebius wrote to him in the Rabbula Gospels (6th cent. AD). This is similar to the letter and icon of Eusebius in the Gamira Gospels., where it follows the Eusebian Tables in both works.
