Summary
[edit]DescriptionEukaryotic RNA-polymerase II structure 1WCM.png |
English: Eukaryotic RNA-polymerase II from Saccharomyces cerevisiae, PDB ID 1WCM [1].
Subunits (homologous to bacterial ones) colored: RPB3 – orange , RPB11 – yellow , RPB2 – wheat, RPB1 (RPO21) – red, RPB6 (RPO26) – pink, the rest 7 subunits are colored gray. Magnesium ion in active cleft is shown blue. Structure is shown as cartoon and surface. Rendered with free Pymol software. Colored subunits are homologous to bacterial ones from image "Bacterial RNA-polymerase structure 1HQM".
Saccharomyces cerevisiae, PDB ID 1WCM [1].
