Description
Nederlands: Op 2 oktober 1935 viel Italië Ethiopië binnen. De kan is vervaardigd ter herdenking van de uitzending van een Nederlandse Rode Kruis ambulance naar Ethiopië op 3 december 1935.

Donkerbruine kruik met één oor. Op de buik een medaillon met tekst, twee wapenschilden met een leeuw (Nederland en Ethiopië) en negen 'zegels' met beroepsemblemen en tekst: arts-leider Winckel, administrateur de Vries, D.A.H.M. Colaco-Delmont, arts-verpleger Lampe, verpleger Hagestein, verpleger Van den Honing, arts Veenenklaas, arts Van Der Does, chirurg Van Schelven. Opschr.: NEDERLANDSE ROODE KRUIS AMBULANCE naar ETHIOPIE onder leiding van Dr. Ch. W.F. Winckel Arts 3 December: 1935 van Rotterdam 23 December te Addis Abeba.’
