English: Schmidtiellus mickwitzi (Schmidt), Holmia mickwitzi (Schmidt). Schmidtiellus mickwitzi (Schmidt) is the oldest Estonian trilobite found within Lower-Cambrian blue clays at Kunda region, Estonia. The photo displays a section of the cephalon and couple of pleurae of the upper thorax. Trilobites belong to a class of extinct arthropods.
