Notes Flat spine. Pink silk endleaves. Blue ribbon marker. With gold tooled red goatskin slip case. End of 18th beginning of 19th century. Signed at tail edge of upper board. For another binding (not digitised) by Sancha see G18295. Enciclopedia de la encuiadernacion, Madrid, 1998, p261. M M Foot, Studies in the History of Bookbinding, Aldershot, 1993, pp.234-5. Some of his bindings are kept in the Biblioteca Nacional, Madrid (Enciclopedia, p. 259-263; Encuadernaciones españolas, Colleción Rico y Sinobas, p. 143, n. 127; p. 143-144, n. 128).
