Description
English:

The Estabrook Building, seen here, was located on the southeast corner of 2nd Avenue and Union Street. Designed by Edwin Walker Houghton (1856-1916), the building, built for the J.A. Moore Investment Co. was begun in late 1899 and completed in April 1900. It housed storefronts on its first floor with offices above. The building was demolished and the site has been occupied since 1997 by the Seattle Symphony's Benaroya Hall.
