oe de Vivar y más recientemente porHartzenbusch en el romántico drama, cuyo asunto constituyenprincipalmente la ruda pero noble protesta de los burgalesesantes de ceñir la corona de Castilla á Alfonso VI, y la varonil ysimpática entereza con que Rodrigo DÃ-az, el Alférez real, se de-terminaba á llevar la voz del reino entero en ocasión tan solem-ne, por la cual se enagenaba no obstante para lo futuro la esti-mación del soberano.
