Description

Español: El 5 de junio de 1938 abrió sus puertas la Escuela Normal de Santiago, considerada el primer centro educativo secundario completo, especialmente destinado a la formación de maestros de enseñanza primaria, establecido en el interior de la República. A partir del año 1941 denominada Escuela Normal Juan Demóstenes Arosemena, en honor a su gestor y a su memoria, el cual fue presidente de la República, quien falleció en el cargo el 16 de diciembre de 1939.
