Description
Español: El sello más antiguo está estampado en el contrato celebrado entre San Pedro y el Arq. Pinarolli para la construcción de la iglesia. Con la declaración de ciudad al pueblo de San Pedro en 1907, la municipalidad adoptó otro sello sobre la base de un escudo pintado por Jovita de Oliveira César en ese año, y oficializado el 23 de noviembre por el Honorable Concejo Deliberante de San Pedro (H.C.D.). El emblema es un escudo Heráldico dividido en tres campos. En el cual la parte superior se divide en dos áreas. En la parte superior derecha, un agricultor con un arreo de bueyes lleva a tiro un arado mancera: es la representación de la Agricultura. En la parte superior izquierda, una pastora junto a dos vacas: representa la Ganadería, y se observa en la parte posterior un grupo de ovejas, esto se debe a que los primeros colonos de nuestro partido fueron Irlandeses. Por último, en la parte inferior, el río, las barrancas y un barco. Parte de la producción agropecuaria de la región a principios del siglo, era canalizado a través de nuestro puerto: representa la actividad Portuaria.
