Description
Español: Escudo de El Limón, Jalisco.

Es un escudo de forma francesa, terciado en barra y cortado.

  1. El maíz y la res representan las principales actividades económicas del municipio: agricultura y ganadería.
  2. Los libros, la fachada del templo y el balón de fútbol, representan educación, religión y deporte, respectivamente. Aspectos que se fomentan entre los habitantes de El Limón y los distinguen en su región.
  3. El mapa del municipio representa su territorio y sus principales poblaciones: El Limón (cabecera municipal), San Juan de Amula, La Ciénaga, San Miguel Hidalgo, El Palmar, San Roque, San Buenaventura y El Rodeo.
  4. En el paisaje se destaca el relieve montañoso de esta región y el horizonte promisorio para El Limón, basado en la explotación de sus recursos.
  5. En la bordura se lee el nombre oficial de la municipalidad: El Limón, Jalisco.
  6. La tapa del limón que corona al escudo alude a la denominación del municipio, y entre sus gajos se inscribe el lema que lo distingue y que se inspira en las cualidades que le dan personalidad: Trabajo, Unión, Libertad, Progreso.

Hence it is assumed that this image has been released into the public domain.
